Emilie completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Oakland University and will be continuing to enhance her manual therapy skills by starting the OMPT residency program this fall. Emilie is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, as well as the Kaltenborn-Evjenth OMPT Association. She assists in creating manual therapy course materials for Oakland University professors to distribute to all levels of the profession: graduate and residency students, as well as international manual therapists. Emilie has always had a passion for manual therapy. She believes that manual therapy is the key to successful and lasting rehabilitation which allows patients to return to their normal activities, athletics, and lives. Emilie places a strong focus on patient-centered care, individualized treatment, as well as constantly building her knowledge and skillsets in order to provide the most effective therapy. In her free time, Emilie enjoys staying active and being outdoors through hiking, flag football, volleyball, soccer, etc. When not at work, she loves to spend time with her husband and family (both human and dogs).
